“What does the application & approval process look like?”

This is done with a simple phone call or an in-person campus tour (which we recommend for new parents anyway). This phone call is just a simple conversation, we like to explain WHO we are and what we do and find out a little bit about you and your child to make sure we are a great fit for each other.

In our experience parents who say things like:

“I’m too busy to talk.”

Or

“Just email me the details.”

Likely won’t be a good fit for our program.

Reason being: Throughout the Summer we’ll be spending over 400 hrs together with some of these kids….

Wouldn’t you WANT to find out who your child is being coached by during that time?

We think so as well!

“Does my child need to attend the entire Summer?”

Short answer….No. You can enroll in what we call “Partial Program” (3 week minimum), you’ll just pay a little more per week as we offer a discount when enrolling in the full program.

“Do you offer sibling discounts?"

Absolutely! Your second child is 25% off, Third = 40% off, Fourth = 50% off.

“Do you have to attend all 5 days?”

Nope, we offer 2 day and 3 day options as well.

“I’ve never heard of Metro Summer Program before. How long have you been around?”

We get this a lot! We practice what we preach by being proactive, & beginning with the end in mind. Our Southgate Headquarters opened our flagship year round Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy, Metro Jiu-Jitsu, in December of 2018.

And believe it our not…we launched our first Leadership Summer Program in the Summer of 2020!

Needless to say….our Leadership curriculum has become massively popular….and we are rapidly expanding throughout the Detroit Metro area!

Currently we have 5 locations (Monroe, Southgate, Livonia, Canton, & Brighton) with a goal to have 10 by the Summer of 2026!
